Alban Muller’s participation to CITE Japan 2017 in Yokohama

Nearly 300 cosmetics professionals and 15 000 participants from all over the world convened at the 8th edition of the Cosmetic Ingredients and Technology Exhibition (CITE), a biennial industry event that took place place in Yokohama, Japan, last May 31st to June 2nd, 2017.

Our President, Alban Muller, accompanied by our General Director, Geneviève Bridenne, and our area manager, James Dickinson, had the opportunity to share the expertise and innovation of the Group during three days at the Matsumoto Trading corner.

Mr. Muller, who is also the founding President of the Japan Cosmetic Center (JCC), took the opportunity to present and promote the cosmetic ingredient potential of plants sourced in the Kyushu region.

The JCC is a dynamic international cluster dedicated to promoting the green economy within the cosmetics industry. Alban Muller discussed new ingredients including Cosme-phytamis® and Lipidamis®, derived from the Kyushu region’s plants and developped in our French R&D laboratories.

It was an ideal occasion to highlight the latest Alban Muller’s innovations in the world of natural ingredients, offering an array of natural skincare solutions for the Japanese market. The event generated significant interest in eco-responsible manufacturing and extraction process.

The Japan tour ended to the city of Karatsu

Invited by Mr. Miné, Mayor of Karatsu, and Mr.Yamaguchi, Governor of the prefecture of Saga, Mr. Muller was delighted to make an inaugural speech at the general assembly of the JCC last June 5th 2017 in Karatsu, Japan. With a strong connection to local institutions, Mr. Muller closely collaborates with the University and the Botanicals garden.  He was guided on his visit to the Genkai Botanical Garden by Mr Kishimoto, Mayor of Genkaï.

Mr. Muller puts customer satisfaction at the heart of its priorities and follows a holistic eco-responsible approach.  The Group’s expertise well-matches the growing Asian market’s demand for natural cosmetics.
